Monks Cloth Fabric for Punch Needle

100% cotton monk’s for punch needle woven in the UK.
It is one of the most popular fabrics used for punch needle and rug hooking. It is a loosely woven 100% cotton fabric and it has 12 holes per inch. It is woven with a white line every two inches to help you with stretching the fabric and also with your pattern placement.
If you buy more than a half metre or metre it will be cut as a continuous piece. Large pieces do not come with secured edges. All small pieces come with overlocked (serged) edges to avoid the edges from fraying.
I recommend using this fabric with the following yarn and punch needles:
- 4mm and 5.5mm Lavor adjustable punch needles
- The biggest tip of the Lavor Fine punch needle set
- Fine and Regular Oxford punch needles
Note: Monk’s cloth frays very easily. Secure your raw edges, either with fabric glue, stitching or masking tape in order to stop the edges from fraying.

International orders are sent using tracked delivery. They are processed through Royal Mail and then handed to their partner company in your country (normally the regular postal service).
