This loose weave linen mix fabric is a good alternative to monk’s cloth. 

It looks beautiful when you want to leave some of the fabric showing in the background. 

I recommend using this fabric with the following yarn and needles:

If you buy more than one half metre it will be cut as a continuous piece. Please note this fabric fray, it is recommended that you tape or overlock (serge) the edges upon receiving to secure the edges.
